Ash Ketchum

Ash Ketchum is a boy from Pallet Town in the Kanto region who dreamed of becoming a Pokemon trainer. He began his journey with a bad-tempered Pikachu, but after saving each other, they bonded and traveled to many different regions, meeting new friends and Pokemon, all to one day reach the goal of becoming a Pokemon Master.

  • General Notes: Ash can only carry around 6 Pokemon at a time, and trying to catch more will result in the Pokemon automatically being sent to a professor. Ash’s team generally consists of Pikachu, and then Pokemon from whatever region he is traveling through. He is capable of contacting Professor Oak and bringing back other Pokemon kept at his lab.   • General Notes: While Ash’s Pokemon can leave their Pokeballs, incapacitating Ash has been shown to prevent his Pokemon from attacking. However, Pikachu is always outside of his ball, and can activate Ash’s other Pokeballs if Ash himself is unable to.
