Avatar Roku

Born to a noble family in the Fire Nation during an era of peace, the teenaged Roku practiced firebending with his friend Prince Sozin. Informed he was the Avatar, he mastered all four elements to bring balance. His friendship with Sozin ended due to Sozin’s imperial ambitions, leading to Roku’s death from volcanic poison. As a spirit, Roku advised his successor Aang.
