Caesar and the Apes

Caesar is a chimpanzee born to a mother experimented on in a genetic lab. When the mother caused an uproar trying to escape the lab, the test chimps were to be put down, but the lead researcher couldn’t stand euthanizing the newborn chimp. Now with a name and home, Caesar began displaying extremely advanced intellect, a result of the virus being tested on his mother. Soon, this intelligence led to an understanding of concepts like betrayal, independence and leadership, and he led a pack of apes deep into the forest. For the next fifteen years, as the human race dwindled due to a deadly virus, Caesar’s leadership would be challenged by ape and man alike. Feats come from the Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy, and covers Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and War for the Planet of the Apes. There are also a few scans from the comic book called Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which takes place between the first and second films. Over the three films, Caesar’s physicals seem to remain the same, but his intelligence and experience seem to increase. The ape population is estimated to be close to 2,000 apes as of Dawn.
