Cal Kestis

Cal Kestis was a padawan of the Jedi Order, apprentice to Master Jaro Tapal, and one of the few Jedi to survive the Jedi Purge. After years of fighting in the Clone Wars, the clone troopers serving Cal and his master were forced to turn on their Jedi allies at the initiation of Order 66. Through Tapal’s foresight, Cal and Jaro were able to avoid being taken by surprise by the clones, but Tapal ultimately died, sacrificing his life so that Cal could survive. After the purge, Cal went into hiding on Bracca, working on a crew scrapping old Republic ships. When an accident forced Cal to reveal his Jedi powers, he soon became a fugitive from the Inquisitorius, a group of dark-side users trained by Darth Vader to hunt down surviving Jedi.
