Captain John Price is a British special forces sniper and the main protagonist of the Modern Warfare franchise. He first ranked as a lieutenant, serving as a sniper under Captain MacMillan in a 1996 mission to assassinate Imran Zakhaev in Pripyat, Ukraine. Promoted to Captain, he led Bravo Team including John ‘Soap’ MacTavish, was imprisoned in a Russian gulag after Operation Kingfish, rescued by Task Force 141, deemed a war criminal after killing General Shepherd with MacTavish, and participated in operations to rescue Alena and President Vorshevsky from Makarov’s forces before killing Makarov in a hotel.
