Drax the Destroyer

Real estate agent Arthur Douglas, his wife Yvette, and daughter Heather were driving across the Mojave Desert when Thanos destroyed their automobile to keep his presence secret. Mentor, monitoring Thanos, enlisted Kronos to seize Arthur’s astral form and create a powerful humanoid body from Earth’s soil, granting it superhuman powers. This being, Drax the Destroyer, was fashioned solely to hunt down and kill Thanos.
