Ebony Maw

Ebony Maw is a member of the Black Order, Thanos’ personal squad of alien warriors serving as his generals in the war against life. Appearing as a gangly and powerless alien, Maw is the most dangerous and mysterious member, specializing in planning and manipulation aided by his persuasive voice. An early member, he served in the Butcher Squadron with Proxima Midnight, earning his elite status through cunning. During Thanos’ Earth invasion, he manipulated Thanos’ son Thane, adopting him as a protégé to guide him into embracing his nature and surpassing the Mad Titan.
