Ents

Ents are a treelike people who live in Fangorn Forest. They act as shepherds for the forest’s moving trees. Since the Entwives disappeared, they have been unable to reproduce. In their native language, the Ents talk extremely slowly.

Treebeard - Strength

• Easily carries Merry and Pippin (source)
• Kills an Orc by stomping on it (source)
• Hurls a large boulder, hitting some Orcs (source)
• Remains standing in a flood that knocks over wooden towers (source)

Treebeard - Speed

• Outpaces Merry and grabs him (source)
• Catches Pippin as he falls (source)

Treebeard - Other

• Commands a moving tree (source)
• Shouts very loudly, seemingly spurring trees and Ents into action (source)

Other Ents - Strength

• One sends an Orc flying with a punch, another with a kick (source)
• Swings an Orc around, hitting other Orcs with it (source)
• Stomps on an Orc (source)
• Pulls out beams that were holding up a dam (source)
• Topples a wooden tower (source)
• Throws a large rock a long distance (source)
• Remain standing in a flood that knocks over wooden towers (source)

Other Ents - Durability

• Survives being pulled to the ground and having Orcs hack at it with axes (source)
• Gets set on fire by flaming arrows (source)
• Puts the fire out a little later (source)

Other Ents - Agility

• Jumps from offscreen onto two Orcs (source)
