Faith Lehane

Faith Lehane

Faith Lehane was born in Boston, Massachusetts to an alcoholic mother and mostly-absent father. After Kendra Young’s death in 1998, she was called as the next Slayer, imbued with strength and skill to fight vampires, demons, and forces of darkness. Unlike typical Slayers, Faith is careless, unrestrained, and revels in sex and violence. Traumatized by her Watcher’s murder by the vampire Kakistos, she relocates to Sunnydale to join Buffy Summers. Despite initial camaraderie, their relationship sours after Faith accidentally kills the Deputy Mayor, leading her to ally with Mayor Wilkins. She targets Buffy’s lover Angel, resulting in a coma-inducing fight. After waking, she swaps bodies with Buffy, fails, flees to Los Angeles, and is tasked by Wolfram & Hart to kill Angel. Angel helps her find redemption.
