General Zod
General Zod is a criminal from the planet Krypton. Shortly before the planet’s destruction, he and two other criminals, Ursa and Non, were banished to the Phantom Zone, but they wound up on Earth by chance. Empowered by Earth’s sun and viewing humans as inferior, they set about conquering the planet, unimpeded until Superman stepped in.
Strength
- Pulls off an astronaut’s tether (source)

- Catches and throws a wall segment (source)
- Kicks Superman while flying, sending him into the Statue of Liberty’s torch and briefly stunning him (source)
- Grapples with Superman, hurts him with a punch, and throws him into a truck (source)
