Haki

Haki

Haki is a mysterious power that every person possesses; however, it lies dormant in most people, unable to fully harness it. There are three main kinds of Haki: Armament Haki, Observation Haki, and Conqueror’s Haki. Haki runs out as it’s used and requires recuperation to build up strength again. Haki has the ability to grow stronger, especially by fighting strong opponents. It is tied to the spirit, not the body.

Armament Haki

  • Coats the user’s body or weapons in spiritual armor, enhancing strength and durability, and allowing attacks on the true form of Logia fruit users who transform into elements like light or smoke. (source)
  • Does not nullify Logia fruit powers but allows the user to hit them like normal people. (source)
  • Advanced users can project this aura to attack without physically touching the opponent. (source)
  • Haki-infused arrows shatter stone. (source)

Observation Haki

  • Feels another person’s presence to sense hidden opponents and predict their actions. (source)
  • Combined with lightning powers to greatly increase range. (source)
  • Assesses the strength of creatures on an island, identifying 500 stronger than Luffy. (source)
  • Allows a blind user to perceive others and sense their emotions, detecting facades of anger. (source)
  • Advanced use enables seeing the future. (source)
  • Weakness: Can be resisted by fighting purely on instinct; cannot predict truly random attacks. (source)
  • Weakness: Requires the user to be calm and focused. (source)

Conqueror’s Haki

  • Overpowers the wills of weaker opponents, knocking them unconscious without a fight. (source)
  • Those with strong determination can resist this power. (source)
  • Exists only in a select few people, unlike Armament and Observation Haki which can be learned by anyone. (source)
  • Scares off a large sea monster. (source)
  • Puts pressure on physical objects, breaking them. (source)
  • Skilled users can knock out select people while sparing others. (source)
  • Can be used while unconscious. (source)
