Hollow Knight

Fully grown Vessel, carrying the plague’s heart within its body. The Hollow Knight is the Vessel chosen by the Pale King to seal away the Radiance and save Hallownest from the Infection. Like their siblings, they are the child of the King and Queen of Hallownest, birthed in the Abyss to be infused with the power of the Void. As such, they are genderless. This birth condition was also supposed to leave them without a mind, will, and voice, to prevent the Radiance from influencing them. However, their purity was misjudged, tarnished by an idea instilled, a bond with the Pale King who raised them.

• Breaks out of a full-body restraint (source)
• Wields and fights with a giant nail (source)
• Can parry and riposte with the nail (source)
• Can cause blasts of infected fire to shoot up from the ground with its strikes (source)
• Can shoot blobs of infection from its cloak (source)
• Can hover and bounce erratically (source)
• Can hover in the air before shooting blobs of infection everywhere (source)
• Can teleport (source)
• Can cover a significant amount of ground with a lunge attack (source)
• Can take hits from the Knight, who can smash apart a stone door and split a metal post (source)

Pure Vessel

• Shatters a carapace-like cape (source)
• Can summon and shoot several glowing daggers (source)
• Can cause swordlike constructs of Soul to shoot up in the air with its attacks (source)
• Creates a shield around it by focusing Soul energy, which explodes, and then creates several other small explosives (source)
• Can attack with void tendrils under its cloak (source)
• Can teleport (source)
• Can cover a significant amount of ground with a lunge (source)
• Can take hits from the Knight, as could the Hollow Knight (source)
