Isaiah Bradley

Isaiah Bradley was a young soon-to-be father who joined the US Army during WWII. Unbeknownst to him, he and 299 other black soldiers would be used as test subjects for perfecting the Super Soldier Serum that made Steve Rogers so famous. Seven of the 300 survived the process, though some with deformities and physical issues that caused death. Isaiah was the only one of the seven to survive the war. After being sent on a suicide mission to stop the Germans from perfecting their SSS, Isaiah returned, only to be incarcerated by the US government nominally for stealing Captain America’s uniform. Isaiah was released after 17 years of a life sentence on condition of complete silence, and has lived his life quietly as a quasi urban legend among the American black community. The version of the Super Soldier Serum he got left him sterile and caused some sort of degenerative neurological issues later in life.
