Izuku "Deku" Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is a character who started his life quirkless in a world where 80% of the population possesses superpowers. After impressing All Might by attempting to save his friend Bakugou, he inherited All Might’s strength-boosting quirk, One For All. This quirk grants him massive super strength, speed, and durability, but his body struggles to handle its power. Deku attends UA Academy to master One For All and become a hero worthy of being the next symbol of peace. The quirk increases in power with each user and currently Izuku can control 8% unharmed, and 20% by straining his bones and muscles. He later discovered One For All granted him powers of every previous wielder, unlocking Black Whip, shadowy tendrils that allow him to pull or draw himself towards things. During the Overhaul Arc, he temporarily attained Full Cowling 100% by using Eri’s rewind ability to heal injuries instantly.
