Jean Grey

Jean Grey was an ordinary girl until her latent telepathic powers awakened at age ten due to the trauma of her friend Annie’s death. Unable to control her abilities, her parents sought help from Professor Charles Xavier, a secret mutant telepath. Xavier secretly trained Jean for years, implementing psychic barriers to help her mature. She later joined the X-Men as Marvel Girl.
