Jesse McCree

A former outlaw, turned member of the peacekeeping Overwatch task force, turned outlaw again, turned current member of the peacekeeping Overwatch task force. Born in Texas, Jesse is an old-fashioned cowboy in an age of advanced technology who follows his own code of vigilante justice.

  • Though he was always a good shot by his own admission, he did get pointers in shooting from Ana Amari, Overwatch’s premier sniper. (source)

  • McCree dives in the direction he’s moving, effortlessly reloading his Peacekeeper in the process. (source)

  • McCree heaves a blinding grenade that explodes shortly after it leaves his hand. The blast staggers enemies in a small radius. (source)

Gameplay Abilities - Ultimate: Deadeye

  • Focus. Mark. Draw. McCree takes a few precious moments to aim; when he’s ready to fire, he shoots every enemy in his line of sight. The weaker his targets are, the faster he’ll line up a killshot. (source)

  • As a young man, got shot in the leg during a gunfight, was still able to fight for a bit after. The fight ended pretty quickly after and it’s unclear when exactly he was shot during it, but he was still able to walk away. (source) (Deadlock Rebels)
