Jet and the Freedom Fighters

The Freedom Fighters began as a group of Earth Kingdom children orphaned and displaced by the Fire Nation, evolving into a violent resistance against them during the Hundred Years War. They disrupted supply lines and hid in a treetop shanty town, gaining a reputation as outlaws and a refuge for wayward youth. Jet, a teenager orphaned at age eight when the Fire Nation killed his parents, led the group charismatically until its disbandment. Unable to settle peacefully in Ba Sing Se, Jet was brainwashed by the Dai Li to assassinate the Avatar but resisted, dying soon after. The Freedom Fighters never fully reformed, with members parting ways.
