Jonathan Joestar

Jonathan Joestar is the son of the wealthy Joestar family. However the Victorian gentleman’s life was thrown into chaos when the family adopted a boy named Dio Brando, who makes it his goal to make Jonathan’s life hell. Eventually they make peace, however years later, Dio rejects his humanity and becomes a vampire, forcing Jonathan to learn the techniques of Hamon and embark on a truly bizarre adventure to stop him from taking over the world.

- Hamon is a method of utilizing the body’s flow of blood to create energy, and by breathing properly, one can utilize energy exactly like that of the sun to kill vampires and the like. The technique requires great discipline however, as Jonathan must unconsciously continue using a special breathing method, even when asleep and if one is prevented from breathing, they won’t be able to create Hamon (source)
