Kevin McCallister

Kevin McCallister is the youngest of six siblings, often overlooked and tormented by his older siblings. He has an almost preternatural affinity for tinkering with household tools, and his family keeps accidentally leaving him behind when traveling on vacation. While separated from them, he must learn to live on his own despite being less than 10 years old, including how to eat properly, shop for groceries, do chores, and thwart the plans of dangerous criminals trying to rob his home.

Traps
- Uses water to freeze the front steps and make them harder to ascend. (source)
- Causes the basement stairs to send intruders tumbling down their length due to freezing. (source)
- Attaches a piece of grill equipment to the doorknob that makes it hot enough to brand an insignia into a man’s hand from a second of contact. (source)
- Brands a man’s hand with a hot doorknob. (source)
- Rigs a false lightbulb that causes an iron to fall when the string is pulled. (source)
- Uses tar and shingles with nails driven through them to trap a stairway. The tar forces intruders to remove their foot protection in order to ascend, leaving them vulnerable to the nails. (source)
- Intruders step on nails after removing foot protection due to tar. (source)
- Sets up a blowtorch that activates when a door is opened, though this is dismantled simply by opening the door with force. (source)
- Blowtorch trap dismantled by forcing the door. (source)
- Uses superglue on foodwrap across a doorway and a tripwire connected to a pencil holding back an electric fan and a pile of feathers to really get one of the robbers. (source)
- Feather trap activates on robber. (source)
- Covers an entrance with easily shatterable glass ornaments. (source)
- Covers the floor in toy cars that cause slipping. (source)
- Sends the two robbers flying down the stairs with swinging paint cans, though these must be manually deployed. (source)
- Sets up the same trap with a wide metal bar as contingency that knocks both robbers into a pitfall. Its rope is then cut, causing the metal bar to fall directly on top of them. (source)
- Sets up a makeshift seesaw with a bucket and a plank of wood in the perfect position to make the two robbers end up hurting each other. (source)

- Ladder rung greased, preventing access. (source)
- Covers the front door entrance with a pitfall. (source)
- The path out of the pitfall is trapped with slippery slime which leads directly into a shelving unit covered in paint. (source)
- Immediately after the paint, a conveniently placed sink where the knobs are hooked up to an arc welder (though this must be manually activated and deactivated). (source)
- Sets up a climbable rope at the end of the pitfall’s path attached to a 100 lb bag of sand to give it the illusion of stability until someone actually attempts to climb it. (source)
- Rigs a door to, whether it’s opened regularly or forced open, unzip a bag over the doorframe and drop heavy tools on the intruder’s head. (source)
- Rigs a hidden blowtorch to fire when a light’s pullstring is pulled, with the only nearby source of water seeming to be a toilet that’s actually filled with gasoline. (source)
- Toilet filled with gasoline instead of water. (source)
- Saws at a ladder in just such a way that he can climb it but anyone heavier than him will end up breaking it. (source)
- Sawed ladder breaks under heavier person. (source)
- Sets up a false doorknob that sends a heavy toolchest tumbling down the stairs towards the door. (source)
- Tricks the robbers into scaling down a building with a rope doused in kerosene, then lights the rope from the bottom. (source)
Environmental Manipulation and Improvisation
- Sets up a series of mannequins and standees to make it look like the house is full. (source)

- Later combines the footage with firecrackers in a cookpot to simulate gunfire. (source)
- Uses different footage to distract hotel staff while escaping. (source)
- Sets up a functional zipline between the upstairs window and his treehouse. (source)
- Uses a recording device to pose as an adult and reserve a hotel room. (source)
- Uses a recording device that was pre-recorded with his uncle singing in the shower in conjunction with a mannequin to make it look like a shower is occupied. (source)
- Escapes from pursuers on the fly by purchasing a pair of bead necklaces and trapping the sidewalk with them. (source)
- Escapes from the hands of the robbers by tactically pinching a lady’s butt. (source)
