KISS

The world famous rock band KISS are powerful warriors from another world called Kissteria. In Scooby-Doo! and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery, the Scooby Gang encounters them at their theme park KISS World, where an evil witch causes chaos. They battle using their rock ’n’ roll powered abilities, summoning astral projections and spaceships, though much of the adventure is revealed as hallucinations from a chemical mist, with KISS confirming their real superpowers at the end.

Team Physicals

  • All four members resist the pull of a portal vortex; Starchild, Catman, and Spaceman hold back Scooby Gang members from being sucked in, and Demon grabs all six and walks forward, cracking the ground with each step. (source)

Team Abilities

  • Starchild states his powers come from rock ’n’ roll, powering everything in Kissteria, possibly the source for all members’ powers and their vehicles. (source)
  • All four members fly by enveloping themselves in a colored aura, or propel with associated powers except Catman. (source)
  • All four fly from ground into orbit, forming a portal to Kissteria. (source)
  • All four fly and intercept the Crimson Witch. (source)
  • All four summon instruments and play ‘I Was Made For Lovin’ You’ to activate a Ferris wheel portal and summon a massive guitar-shaped spaceship from the ground, controlled by their music to enter the portal. (source)
  • Using a pedal to activate amps, all four launch a massive energy combo attack from the ship, blasting the Crimson Witch into an asteroid and cracking it. (source)
  • The guitar spaceship flies on autopilot without playing or steering. (source)
  • The guitar spaceship possibly creates portals, arriving through one to Kissteria and later flying into an aerial portal emerging from the Ferris wheel. (source)
  • The detachable KISS Kraft vessel, keyed by Starchild, flies after laser blasts from the Destroyer and escapes its suction breath, possibly creating portals. (source)
  • To destroy the Destroyer, KISS performs a concert on Earth heard in Kissteria via portal, creating massive projections that attack and destroy it, overloading it with ‘massive music’ since rock ’n’ roll powers Kissteria. (source)

  • Demon throws a confetti bomb and vanishes, same as appearance effect. (source)
  • Catman uses a confetti bomb to vanish. (source)
  • The band performs a Japanese-style costume change transformation sequence, explained as a special effect, but they jump far beforehand, showing group agility. (source)

  • KISS operate on a cosmic level as mystery solvers. (source)
  • All four designed parts of KISS World amusement park. (source)
  • KISS has the Rock of Kissteria relic, made by Kissterian warriors using crystals to seal the Destroyer into a volcano and transfer its power to the stone key; kept in a case requiring all four to open; they plan to return it to Kissteria. (source)
  • Rock of Kissteria kept in special case opened by all four. (source)

The Demon Physicals
