Maul

Maul

A young Zabrak boy belonging to the Nightbrother clan from the planet Dathomir was selected by the Sith Lord Darth Sideous to be his apprentice and was given the name Darth Maul. Maul trained under Sideous for years, until he was defeated by the Jedi Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi and presumed dead. Maul, no longer Darth, survived, however, and with the help of his brother Savage Opress, built a criminal empire that spread across the galaxy, culminating in his conquering of the planet Mandalore and the Mandalorian people. After being driven off Mandalore by the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano, Maul remained in the shadows, quietly running his criminal syndicate for years. He eventually made his way to the planet Malachor, where he encountered the Jedi fugitives Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus. Maul located and tracked down Kenobi on Tatooine, where the two fought for the final time, and Maul died at the hands of his old foe.
