Mewtwo - Mewtwo Strikes Back

Mewtwo - Mewtwo Strikes Back

Mewtwo is a genetically engineered clone of the ancient Pokémon Mew, created in a lab from Mew’s fossil to become the world’s strongest Pokémon. The cloning process killed all other attempts except Mewtwo, who grew bitter and without purpose. After killing his creators and being betrayed by Giovanni, Mewtwo concluded that both humans and Pokémon were corrupt, leading him to create clone Pokémon and plan to eradicate humanity. However, witnessing Ash’s sacrificial attempt to stop him changed his heart. Mewtwo then sought to find his place in the world, protecting his clones from harm and eventually parting ways to understand his purpose, later rescuing Pokémon from abusive situations.
