Miranda Lawson

Miranda Lawson is a genetically engineered human created by the billionaire Henry Lawson in the hopes of building his own dynasty. For the beginning years of her life Miranda was provided with everything she could want, but soon realized her father saw her as nothing more than something to be controlled for his own ends. Escaping along with her genetically identical infant sister, she joined up with the human rights organization Cerberus for protection. Due to her impressive capabilities she quickly rose through the ranks and eventually became head of the Lazarus Project, an attempt to bring the recently deceased Commander Shepard back to life. After the success of the project (and the death of most of the staff on board due to a traitor withing) she became Shepard’s second in command aboard the new Normandy during their mission to stop the Collectors from abducting human colonies. Eventually this mission would prove successful, after which Miranda cut her ties with Cerberus and began to oppose them in order to protect her sister and bring down her father once and for all.
