Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy is the pirate captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, who dreamed of becoming the Pirate King since childhood. He is characterized by his incredible stupidity, determination, and simple-mindedness, rarely giving up on a goal. He recruits crew members spontaneously and is a skilled fighter, inventively using his Devil Fruit abilities and coming up with strategies on the fly. Luffy consumed a mysterious Devil Fruit, becoming a rubber man with the ability to stretch his body, granting him incredible resilience against blunt force attacks. However, this comes at the cost of being unable to swim, and submergence in water instantly saps his strength. Luffy is also capable of using Haki, knowing all three types after the time skip. Observation Haki allows him to sense opponents and predict their actions. Armament Haki allows him to create invisible armor for increased durability and strengthens his attacks, also enabling him to strike a Devil Fruit user’s true form; focusing this Haki can coat his body in black. Conqueror’s Haki allows him to overpower the wills of others to knock out enemies.
