Okoye

The general of Wakanda’s Dora Milaje as well as the head of its armed forces, Okoye is a highly capable fighter, having worked with T’Challa since not long after he first became the Black Panther. She considers herself loyal to the throne, leading to her working alongside Killmonger as he rules Wakanda even as he puts into motion a plan to start a war with the rest of the world, but turning on him as T’Challa reveals himself to be alive. Likewise, Okoye stood by T’Challa’s side as he opened Wakanda up to the world, fighting alongside the Avengers as they brought the fight against Thanos to them. Following the Snap, she continued to work with the Avengers, using both her skills and Wakanda’s resources to help protect the world.
