Ororo Munroe, Storm

Ororo was born to N’Dare and David Munroe as the latest descendant of African priestesses, born with white hair, blue eyes, and great magical potential. After her parents’ death in Cairo, she was trained in thievery by Achmed El Gibár. She later discovered her mutant weather control abilities in the Sahara, using them to save T’Challa. She then found her ancestors’ homeland, serving as a goddess to local tribes before joining the X-Men, becoming one of the team’s most prominent members. She possesses the ability to manipulate weather, views the world as energy patterns, and has an innate connection to Earth, feeling atmospheric and magnetospheric disturbances. As of Black Panther (2016) #172, she has been blessed with Godhood, a gift passed down from her ancestors, and wields Stormcaster, a hammer similar to Mjolnir constructed by Loki, granting her divine power similar to Thor’s.
