The Penguins of Madagascar are four ordinary penguins—Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private—turned secret commando team. Born in Antarctica, they rescued a lone egg, becoming separated from their colony and forming a family. Years later, they are elite commandos on missions worldwide, from New York to Madagascar, Africa, Europe, and space. They have allies like Central Park Zoo residents and the North Wind, and enemies such as Hans the puffin, the Red Squirrel, and Dr. Blowhole.
