Rick Jones - A-Bomb

After teenager Rick Jones snuck into a military base on a dare, he learned it was a test center for an experimental Gamma bomb. Scientist Bruce Banner noticed him and pushed him into a trench seconds before detonation, irradiating his body and creating the Hulk. Rick spent his life helping the Hulk as penance and became a sidekick to superheroes. Kidnapped by the Leader and MODOK, he was transformed using Abomination’s blood into their weapon but couldn’t be easily controlled. They commanded him to kill Bruce Banner with a trigger, which Bruce neutralized. As A-Bomb, a big blue bruiser with a heart of gold, he helped the Hulk until Doc Green cured him after a fight.
