Peter Parker was a brilliant but socially inept student. After being orphaned, Peter moved in with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. While attending a field trip Peter was bitten by a genetically modified spider and gained spider-like abilities, which include superhuman strength, durability and speed, wall-crawling, Spider Sense and the ability to shoot webs.
