Superboy-Prime - X-MAS COMES EARLY THIS YEAR

Superboy-Prime originates from Earth-Prime, a world where DC heroes are fictional comic book characters. Named Clark Kent, he was bullied for his resemblance to Superman. On Halloween night, a passing Haley’s Comet granted him superpowers while he was dressed as Superboy. Shortly after, he teamed up with Pre-Crisis Superman before the Anti-Monitor’s arrival drastically changed his world, literally.

Early Years

  • Prime’s powers began during the crisis, leading him to meet Pre-Crisis Superman. (source) (Also known as Silver-age)
  • Stops a tidal wave alongside SA Superman. (source)
  • Beats up some random aliens. (source)
  • SA Superman vouches for Prime’s power. (source)
  • SA Superman states Prime is fast. (source)
  • Shatters a synthetic red solar energy shell. (source) (Resistance feat; Prime is seemingly resistant to fake red-solar energy.)
  • States he originates from Earth-Prime. (source) (Mentions how his universe was destroyed by the Anti-Monitor.)
  • Tanks a few blasts from the COIE Anti-Monitor. (source)
  • Leaves with Alexander Luthor Jr. to the paradise dimension. (source)

Paradise Dimension and after..

  • Executes the Ret-con punch. (source) (A punch that changed DC history.)
  • His punching on the dimensional walls brought Jason Todd back to life. (source) (Every punch alters history.)
  • Alexander Luthor Jr. confirms Prime is altering reality. (source)
  • Prime’s punches on the barrier cause changes. (source) (Each time you punch the barrier..something changes)
  • Prime altered reality without being at full power. (source)
  • Kal-L of Earth-2 was incapable of altering reality by punching the dimensional wall. (source) (This was Golden Age Superman, when he was equal to post-crisis Superman.)
  • Moves planets at MFTL speeds across the universe. (source)
  • Re-shifts the center of the universe away from Oa. (source) (Prime did this so fast that the Guardians had no idea the planets were missing until it was too late.)

Infinite Crisis

  • Surprises Martian Manhunter and destroys the JL Watchtower. (source)
  • Brother EYE logs confirm Prime killed Martian Manhunter. (source)
  • Destroys Lex Luthor’s battle armor. (source)
  • One shots Power Girl. (source)
  • Fights the JSA, Teen Titans, and Doom Patrol. (source)
  • Stops Jay, Wally, and Bart from speedblitzing him. (source)
  • Scatters/hurts multiple heroes with a single blast of heat vision. (source) (Why do they keep “ruining everything” ?)
  • Breaks out of the Phantom Zone by punching, then proceeds to Ret-Con Beast Boy’s history. (source) (Punches; A feat deemed impossible, until Prime arrived.)
  • Is taken into the Speed Force by all noteworthy Speedsters. (source)
  • An alternate reality Jay Garrick admits Prime was too strong and fast for him. (source)
  • Bart had to absorb the entire Speed Force to reach the primary DC universe before Prime could. (source) (Wally also admits Prime is faster than him.)
  • Escapes the Speed Force, a feat deemed impossible by DC standards. (source) (escapes; Prime shows us “impossible” isn’t in his vocabulary!)
  • Discusses his escape from the Speed Force. (source)
  • States he wasn’t even trying against the JSA, Teen Titans, and Doom Patrol. (source)
  • Kills Solomon Grundy and some other heroes. (source) (Also villains, so he’s not so bad..)
  • Black Adam’s charged punches only tickle Prime. (source)
  • Takes a punch from Martian Manhunter and the combined assault of Breach, The Ray, Nightshade, Power Girl, and Lady Quark. (source)
  • Takes a few hits from Bart Allen. (source) (Bart had absorbed the whole Speed Force, so this isn’t a low showing. This is like taking a hit from a 100% FULL POWER Speedster.)
  • Knocks out Kal-L of Earth-2, Wonder Girl, and Luthor Jr. with a casual blast of heat vision. (source) (Luthor managed to get up first, the rest were down for longer.)
  • Tears through a 300-mile thick wall of will-power with ease. (source)
  • Fights the entire Green Lantern Corps. (source) (Big Version: http://i.imgur.com/bl9NQkv.jpg)
  • PC Superman and Earth-2 Superman attempt to bull rush and fight him. (source) (After they grabbed him, Prime pretty much let them keep pushing him, since he quickly smacked them, then started laughing.)
  • Engages in combat while de-powered against two Supermen. (source) (Prime, courtesy of his angst teen thinking, forgot he’s still weak to real red-solar energy, his fault tbh.)

IC Finale, and the Sinestro Corps War

  • Killed more lanterns than Parallax Hal did, leading to his capture and imprisonment in a Quantum Containment Field, surrounded by a red-sun eater and guarded by 50 lanterns. (source)
  • Is freed by the Sinestro Corps and becomes a herald of the Anti-Monitor. (source)
  • Scatters the heroes of Earth. (source)
  • Battles the heroes of DC Earth. (source)
  • Fights Captain Atom. (source) (Poor Atom.)
  • Fights the JL/JSA while nearly de-powered. (source) (Atom actually managed to do something good for once!)
  • Fights more heroes and kills a bunch of Green Lanterns. (source)
  • Fights Alan Scott and other heroes; his heat vision hurts a Guardian. (source) (This is also lining up to a later durability feat.)
  • Tanks the War-World explosion, a galaxy destroying attack. (source) (Capable of wiping out the entire Milky Way!)
  • Rips and tears the weakened Anti-Monitor to pieces, then tosses him to the edge of the universe. (source) (A massive durability feat; a mere touch from the Anti-Monitor fried a Guardian, Prime only got a few cuts.)
  • Fights off the heroes of DC, with Green Lantern help, and the Guardians, tanking attacks from almost everyone present, including Guardians. (source)
  • A Guardian self-destructs on Prime in an attempt to stop him, which only powers Prime up. (source)

Countdown to Final Crisis - The Guardian Amp

  • Finds himself on Earth-15, where he captures and threatens Lex Luthor. (source)
  • Kills Earth-15 Superman. (source)
  • Finishes with Lex’s whining and destroys the Fortress of Solitude. (source) (Also destroyed the Fortress of Solitude.)
  • Kills part of Earth-15’s Justice League with ease. (source)
  • Vaporizes Atlantis and meets Wonder Woman and Batman. (source)
  • One-shots Earth-15 Wonder Woman (Donna) and kills Batman. (source) (Yes she died in one hit.)
  • Destroys Earth-15 and every inhabitant on the planet in one attack. (source) (Presumably every Earth-based hero for this universe was located on the planet, so they all died in one attack.)
  • Threatens to tear the multiverse apart. (source) (To find Earth-Prime, his home.)
  • Punches into the 5th dimension and steals Mxyzptlk. (source)
  • The power gained from the amp allows Prime to freely stand on the Source Wall. (source) (Normally, standing on the wall, or getting anywhere near it, would trap you permanently. Prime re-caps on the events thus far, and is actively looking for Earth-Prime, his home. All the worlds he’s seen so far are fakes, but he plans to change that soon..)
  • Tortures Mxyzptlk. (source) (Mxy was weakened prior to this, by how much is uncertain, but it wasn’t “a little”. Mxy had given his magic to Zatanna earlier, not that magic would have done anything, Prime himself was already ridiculously resistant to magic, the amp more or less made him immune. Mxy DID say he could destroy Prime, but mentioned earlier how his amp was “starting to fade” which could mean the amp was giving him protection against Mxy’s power.)
  • Refuses to take any disrespect from the Monitors. (source) (There is one monitor per universe, a judge per-say. Each Monitor has immense power, enough to dictate power of a universe if they so choose. The Monitors were afraid of Prime, but they were even more afraid of Monarch. They trick him into fighting Monarch, hence the “THEY’RE RUINING EVERYTHING!”.)
  • Fights Monarch, a multiversal conqueror who effortlessly stomped 39 Captain Atoms and 3 alternate reality Supermen. Prime tears Monarch’s containment suit, causing a Big Bang that wipes out the universe. (source) (Universal durability, FUCK YEAH! Monarch was so powerful, he effortlessly stomped 39 Captain Atoms and 3 alternate reality Supermen, who were all MUCH stronger than standard PC Superman. Thus far, Monarch is the only being that has shown control in a fight against this Prime. So much control in-fact, Prime was essentially blood-lusted in this fight, while Monarch was dealing with everything Prime threw at him. Monarch tells Prime he’s running on the last bit of Guardian energy, it presumably drains up by the end. The planet shown to be intact, is Nix-Uoton’s home world, which was shielded by him. Monitor shields > Big-bang apparently, neat. The amp was the ONLY reason Prime could fight Monarch, without, he would’ve got rekt.)

Final Crisis : Legion of Three Worlds

  • Was only KO’d by Monarch’s containment leak explosion and was then blasted outside the multiverse where the Time-Trapper sends him to the 31st Century. (source) (Remember, the amp was nearly dried up when that happened. The remaining portion of the amp allowed him to tank it. Though in Infinite Crisis, Prime did claim he would be the last one standing after another Big Bang. Referenced above in Infinite Crisis section.)
  • Uses freeze breath against some ‘police’. (source) (Freeze breath 2good.)
  • His heat-vision easily burns through Superman. (source)
  • Freezes Superman easily. (source) (A good one-two hit from Prime!)
  • Fights the Legion of Super-Heroes and then races off to stop Bart Allen, freezing Sunboy and crushing his skull easily. (source) (Prime doesn’t like those mean speedsters.)
  • Resists an attack from 30th Century Mordru. (source)
  • Vaporizes Kinetix. (source) (Classic banter by Prime.)
  • Defeats 31st Century Sodam Yat, who had Ion within him. (source) (Not so nice… This is the last we see of Yat, guess he couldn’t handle the rektoning. (Wreck-ton-ing) He also had Ion in this, I guess Prime was only toying with the 20th Century version? Who knows..)
  • Has a brawl with Superboy. (source)
  • Ret-Cons himself. (source) (Thus ending the glorious journey, of our one true god. The following scans are basically the last of Prime, I don’t consider that PIS Teen-Titan experience in 06’ canon, fight me.)

Adventure Comics

  • Resists the effects of emotional entities (Black, Red, Blue Lanterns). (source) (Black? Red? Blue? Hell no, Prime isn’t having it!)
  • Punches into DC Headquarters. (source) (Exactly what it says, you guys better write Prime better next time!)

Legion of Doom : Teen-Titans #98

  • Returns only to be defeated by the Teen Titans, who throw him into the Source Wall. (source) (They never really explained how he got back here, but whatever.)
