Superman - Kevin Smith's Superman Lives [Unused Script]

While only one woman knows the true identity of mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent, the world is aware of Superman as its greatest hero. In this unrealized story, Superman grapples with balancing his love life and heroism, leading him into a trap by Lex Luthor and Brainiac. He dies in a battle to save Metropolis but is resuscitated by the AI Eradicator from his Kryptonian ship. With the sun blocked, he loses his powers and uses Eradicator as power armor. Having experienced mortality, he seeks to defeat Brainiac and prevent Earth’s fate like Krypton’s.
