Tenzin

Born the only airbending son of Avatar Aang, it was up to Tenzin to inherit the legacy of an entire nation. Tenzin grew close to his father as the two traveled the world learning everything he could about the ancient culture, and when his father passed Tenzin shouldered the burden of keeping it alive on his own.That all changed when Tenzin went on to father children with his wife Pema. His children Jinora, Ikki, Meelo, and Rohan helped to carry on his father’s legacy along with Tenzin’s siblings Kya and Bumi. Tenzin established himself as a major world leader and the airbending master of Avatar Korra, but his greatest contribution to history came after the resurgence of airbenders around the world following Harmonic Convergence. Tenzin headed the new nation, training them as peacekeepers to maintain harmony throughout the world.

Strength

Durability

  • Makes a large leap and takes a hit from a spirit that sends him flying a distance away and create a plume of snow with his impact and recovers a moment later (source) (S2E1)
  • KO’d after crashing a sky bison attacked by spirits (source) (S2E12)
  • Recovers from and evades as many of the Red Lotus’ attacks as he can before getting overwhelmed (source) (S3E11)
  • Falls off a cliffside, through tree branches, and craters the ground, but gets right up (source) (S2E13)

Speed

  • Notices an attacker behind Lin and blasts them away, but downed by a taser glove from behind (source) (S1E6)
