The Magic School Bus

The Magic School Bus is a sentient bus owned by Mrs. Frizzle, a third-grade teacher at Walkerfield Elementary School. It is used to take her class on magical and educational field trips with an array of powers. Its origin is unknown, but linked to Mrs. Frizzle’s ancestor Redbeard the Pirate and the Magical Spanish Galleon, suggesting a family secret for creating magical vehicles. In normal form, it runs on gasoline and can be repaired with conventional parts, though magical components like the mesmerglober and shrinkerscope require custom repairs.
