Ultimate Reed Richards, The Maker

An experiment gone wrong turned the boy genius Reed Richards into the super elastic hero Mr. Fantastic. A childhood bullied at school and at home fostered a resentment within the wunderkind Reed Richards. Approached by the government and recruited into an elite Think Tank at the Baxter Building he cultivated possibly the greatest mind on Earth. But when an experiment to teleport matter across dimensions went wrong he transformed he and his friends into the super-powered Fantastic Four. The Fantastic Four became prominent heroes while constantly exploring the frontier of the unknown through space, time, and reality itself. But as time wore on Reed grew more distant both from his teammates and humanity itself. Increasingly believing that humanity could not care for itself he fostered an identity known as the Maker who sought to control the world for its own good. The Maker’s increasingly villainous scheming would earn him a rare position surviving the death of his universe, split up and spread across the multiverse to menace even the mainstream Marvel universe. Reed’s physiology is drastically altered, allowing himself to stretch and shape himself into all manner of shapes. After becoming the Maker he increasingly relies on his vast intellect and technological innovation.
