Ultimate Sandman

Flint Marko was sentenced to 50 years in prison at Ryker’s Island after botching an armored car robbery, beating his girlfriend, and killing a responding police officer. Becoming a pawn in the underworld’s race to produce superhumans, Marko was subjected to experiments that transformed him into Sandman. Initially unable to control his powers and terrified, he eventually reverted to his violent ways as a member of the Six.
