Ultimate Thor

Thorlief Golmen, known as Thor, was a Norwegian psychiatric nurse who believed he was the Norse god of lightning. The Norwegian government, having invested in super soldier technology attuned to his biology, allowed him to operate as the superhero Thor. Equipped with a hammer and harness granting immense strength, durability, flight, lightning control, and teleportation, he became one of the most powerful superhumans and an ally to the Ultimates. He proved his true Asgardian divinity, wielding Mjolnir as Odin’s chosen to save the world. His powers were later stripped by The Maker but recreated technologically, ultimately sacrificing himself to save Earth from Galactus.
