Venom - Eddie Brock

Eddie Brock was a disgraced journalist who blamed Spider-Man for his humiliation. After Spider-Man abandoned his alien symbiote suit, it bonded with Brock, forming Venom. The merged entity refers to itself as “we” and is aware of Spider-Man’s true identity. Venom initially battled Spider-Man but later became a brutal vigilante protecting innocents. Though Eddie temporarily lost the symbiote and believed all symbiotes were evil, he eventually re-bonded with Venom. Mentally, Eddie is unstable, obsessed with the concept of innocence, and often makes graphic threats. This is partly due to a tumor causing excess adrenaline and long-term symbiote exposure, though he can hide his issues. Either Eddie or the symbiote can take full control of their shared body.
