Vision

Vision

When Ultron attempted to use a highly advanced medical device which could recreate organic tissue alongside vibranium and the Mind Infinity Stone, the process was affected when the Avengers gained the Regeneration Cradle and uploaded JARVIS in an attempt to counter Ultron’s programming, and then further changed when Thor struck the device with lighting to greatly accelerate its process. The resulting creation was Vision, a hybrid of all the entities that went into his creation that wished to protect humanity. Becoming a member of the Avengers, Vision constantly sought peace and the greater good, even if it pitted him against others in the group. In spite of being on opposite sides of this conflict, Vision still sought a romantic relationship with Wanda in the following years, often visiting her in private. But as Thanos set his sights on Earth, and as it became evident that only Wanda held the key that could truly save them all, Vision was fully willing to put his life on the line to save half of all life in the universe.

Speed

Abilities - Energy Blasts

  • Getting stabbed with a weapon which stops his phasing causes his concentration to drop, reverting him back to normal (source) (IW)

Other

  • Hacks into Ultron, locking him out of the internet and ensuring he would not be able to escape out of the drones he had already created (source) (AoU)
  • Has a transponder he can turn off, though it’s unclear if this is part of him or just a separate item (source) (IW)
  • Can wield Mjolnir, using it to slam Ultron back a great distance, though whether he is worthy or if he could lift it only due to being a robot is debated in-movie (source) (AoU)
  • While the Mind Stone is an integral part of Vision, it’s only one part of him, and can theoretically be removed while retaining a significant part of him; however, this takes a significant amount of time in Shuri’s Wakandan lab, and is never seen realized (source) (IW)
