Wanda Maximoff - the Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff is a native of Sokovia who, along with her twin brother Pietro, acquired superpowers through HYDRA experiments involving the Mind Stone in Loki’s Scepter. Pietro gained superhuman speed, while Wanda developed psionic abilities including telekinesis and mind manipulation. Initially allying with Ultron for revenge against Tony Stark, they switched sides upon learning Ultron’s plan to eradicate humanity, joining the Avengers. Pietro died in the Battle of Sokovia, but Wanda continued as an Avenger.
